Q. Can I have more than 1 FREE Listing?

A. Sorry, we offer only 1 FREE listing per business, additionally you get extra features with our paid for premium listing including the ability to list events and offers as well as publish online PDF documents for your customers to download such as borchures, menu's, price lists etc.

Q. Can I upload microsoft word documents such as brochures and menu's?

A. Our online document system is designed to support only Adobe PDF formats and does not directly support word or any other document format. This is because most web browsers support PDF format without the need to run any application such as word etc, meaning that more people can view the documents without needing additional software.

Q. How can I convert my current documents into PDF fornmat?

A. There are many ways to convert other format into PDF, you can use premium Adobe products or FREE products such as Primo PDF

Q. Why doesnt the Google Map Display Show for my Listing?

A. All listings include an integrated Google Map, however the address information we pass to Google maps is taken from the details you provide for the listing, this should be simply the postal address using accurate details. -TIP dont include the property name in the address field or more than 1 road/street name, always use the main postal town as the city/town and use the full accurate post code. generally simplifying the address will allow the Google map integration to work best.

Q. I have registred as a new user, but cant add my listing, what could be wrong?

A. If you click on My Account and complete the account username and password corectly as you used when you set up your account, you should see the My Account Page which gives you the option to add/edit your listings. If you are not presented with the My Account Page , it could be because your internet browser/computer is not set up to accept cookies. LocalDelights.co.uk uses a small file called a cookie to remember users and their logged on status, if your browser does not accept cookies, you will not be able to log on.

You can set up your browser to accept the cookie just from LocalDelights.co.uk by modifying the privacy/cookie settings on your browser, for Internet explorer you can follow the toolbar as follows, Tools/Internet Options/ Privacy - then add www.localdelights.co.uk as an allowed site for cookie use. This Should respolve your problems.
